In August 2008, a group of women at the University of Missouri got together and formed an interest group of SAEPi, called the Jewish Sorority Interest Group (JSig),  The purpose of the diverse group of young, Jewish women is to bring cultural diversity to Mizzou.  After a semester of meetings, it became the first Women's Jewish-interest organization in over a decade.

In January 2009, with the help of our founding mothers, the organization became the Lambda Colony of SAEPi.  And in January 2010, we became an official chapter.

Fall Semester 2012, SAEPi officially became the first Panhellenic Associate Member at the University of Missouri.  We continue to host rushes both semesters in order to increase our numbers and presence on campus.
